MyDadsPlace.org Serves Non-Custodial Fathers

OUR MISSION:
The mission of MyDadsPlace.org, is multifaceted. Our primary mission is to serve below poverty level divorced Fathers with children, by giving them a low- to no-cost place to share time with each other. A place where they can read, watch TV, see a movie, play board games, enjoy outdoor activities or simply be together. MyDadsPlace.org, will also offer educational opportunities for non-custodial fathers ranging from parenting classes, to financial and legal advice. We will refer Fathers in need of psychiatric counciling and medical attention to the proper agencies here in Westchester County.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
1)To serve, educate and support post-divorce Fathers living below the poverty line.
2)To give non-custodial Fathers a safe, secure and fun place to be with and enjoy their children.
3)To give divorced Fathers emotional, financial and legal counciling and advice.
4)To give homeless Fathers a safe and wholesome environment to share overnight visitations with their children.
Keys To Our Success:
1)Receiving ongoing donations and grants to fund MyDadsPlace.org
2)Securing the appropriate property in the White Plains area, near bus and rail routes.
3)Recruitment of volunteer counselers, Pro Bono Family Law attorneys, financial and mental health professionals.
4)A committed paid and volunteer staff dedicated to providing daily activities and soliciting donations.
